Mayor McMahon and Girl Scouts of Eastern PA at the September 8th kickoff of the
"Scout to Vote" campaign aimed at registering thousands of new women voters
through a non-partisan voter registration drive.



UPDATE! Mayor Tom McMahon and Robert Reed, Assistant Chief of the Criminal Division, U. S. Attorney’s Office held a press conference on Thursday, October 30, 2008 in City Hall Council Chamber regarding the City of Reading Gang Prevention Imitative.  John Kramer, coordinator, gave a brief overview of the Student Survey results and Key Risk Factors.

Make A Note!

As contractors begin the first phase of the restoration of the Pagoda, the trademark exterior red neon lights on the Pagoda will be disconnected on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at 8:00 a.m.  The neon lights will remain off for the duration of the restoration whichis anticipated to be completed by the end of this year.
